Do you ever anticipate moving back to Cleveland & want the home to be there for you when you get back?

We would like to continue to buy notes and hold in our portfolio but we anticipate our capital to decrease in the next few years if we continue to purchase , so looking for sources to hypothecate our portfolio and borrow more capital.Any advice on this strategy and sources would be greatly be appreciated.

While I'm not finding the amazing numbers that some might find in other areas, I run very conservative numbers prior to purchase and usually get a better return than I anticipate. 

To entice outside investors to buy a new build with anticipation of using 2 weeks out of the year.  

We knew it was a fixer upper that needed major work but the inspectors found more termite damage than anticipated and even evidence of a previous fire.

But I want to try to anticipate those values ahead of time so we're not trying to renegotiate a bunch.

For the next two months we kept looking and eventually found one and could have it installed for $1600, which wasn't bad, but we already spent more money than anticipated on the kitchen.

I think we can remove the stove from the attic to make this FHA compliant.I actually have not SEEN the inside of the property yet because it is nearly impossible to get a showing (uncooperative month to month tenants, even the seller's agent has not seen the inside yet) so I am assuming the worst and anticipating a full gut. 

I converted it to 10 year fixed rate HELOC at 3.25% because I anticipated rates to increase over the near term.
