I focused on burbs near the airport and rent exclusively to pilots, flight attendants, and airline personnel to counter this.Lastly, when running your numbers, be sure to get your own quotes for insurance and taxes to include in your analysis.

I call it the southwest airlines management style.

Try to have the mindset of a hotel manager at a luxury hotel or a top airline; very friendly and polite, but the rules are the rules.We have to re-trail our new tenants often, because they come with some "bad behaviors" from a previous bad landlord.

Airlines are slowing starting to fight back and I'm sure housing will get there eventually but I suspect it will take another decade or more.

We work full time and have found that this model, which I modeled after the Southwest Airlines works well for us.
