I will third looking into Philadelphia-  its close enough to NY where you could reasonably come down and check out neighborhoods your interested in first hand, and there are plenty of good deals if you know where to look.

Because life is funny, three weeks after settling in to my home in South Carolina I was offered a full time job in New York so I moved back to NY and rented out my house.

I recommend reading books and potentially attending the events that concentrate on the mindset shifts specifically, like Tony Robbins ones for instance.

@Tony Roberts I've never eaten there, but the food sucks.Delays in wholesale transactions occur when the wholesaler has no end buyer (or the end buyer's funds has been delayed) and doesn't have the guts to tell the seller the truth.
