This is because you can file a "superseded" return instead of an amended return on/before the extension due date which can make error correction a little easier if you get a surprise K-1 from an investment in August or something like that.

Hey @Travis Biziorek,The homes so far have been between 90 K to 130 K, I think only one was under 100 K.

Hi K,It would be a good idea to first research more on the property - whether the property had fell out of contract, what the pricing history has been, what the neighborhood looks like, whether it is overpriced, etc.
