Jim Gordon A&E Flip This House
17 September 2007 | 24 replies
But honestly I rather see home that sell for $200,000 over 5m any day.I've seen it but the same people were doing a different show and they bought a beach house for 1.2 mil put in 250,000.00 in 10 days they said and then tried to sell it for 2.4 mil, the owner said it was a flop, it was the first time he partnered up with the contractor, I don't know but if they had listed it for 1.6 wouldn't that have been a good deal and they might have unloaded italso the contractor fell of the ladder and broke his hand and had a cast, then at the end of 10 days no cast, must have been a miracle, I like to watch the shows but a lot of it is unbelievable, especially the 10 day turn arounds

Jon Klaus, I enjoyed reading your post about your first investment property...you really hit the ground running.Marc Bodinger, I am interested in apartments, but I'm a bit tentative to start that aggressively in case I commit to a property that I can not unload if I had to.
Stephen Camardo Concrete block wall construction - siding techniques
24 November 2013 | 7 replies
Likewise; if you install foam board between the furring lumber - so as to present a 'solid' flat surface under the siding - you can probaby go out to a 24" nail spacing and still not end up with a 'starving horse ribs' look to the finished job.Do this: first work out the costs of doing it on 24" centers, on 16" centers" and on 12" centers.
