As Property Owners are we supppose to permit violent criminals into our properties and put the rest or our tenants at risk?

My contractor threw on a new layer of paint throughout entire house, replaced carpet with hardwood laminate, restored the wood on the staircase, and refinished tub/vanity in bathroom, new blinds and fixtures.

The building had a decent amount of historical detail but it had been so chopped up over the years that it wasn't very uniform and would require a ton of work to restore that wasn't warranted for a rental.
