Definitely agree with Jay on this one, the cost that you would incur to essentially do a refinance-rehab deal, or some kind of a stabilized bridge, you would be charged a few points and third party fees to change lenders and maybe save a point on the interest rate and add a couple of months extension would be a tough pill.

@Alecia LovelessThanks Alesia.Splitting works best when I am here and personally vetting highly compatible tenants while absorbing small inconveniences, I can probably make splitting work if I am at least at a drivable distance although challenging.I have a strong feeling to sell if I am out of state but losing a very low mortgage interest rate and finding another house hacking cash cow in CA in this environment is also a tough pill to swallow.

I think they’re going to raise the rent on me fairly significantly (~10%) the next time the lease renews, which will sort of be a bitter pill to swallow, but had they raised the rent a little every year or two, I’d probably already be paying that amount or more, so I’ll probably get over it.

If you don't allow them, they'll go get a fake "prescription" from a doctor and you'll be forced to allow the animal and unable to charge more rent or a deposit.

IN Oregon its over the counter and slam dunker.. in WA little harder you need a forester to write a prescription.. and in CA VERY Hard  you need to jump through all sorts of environmental hoops.. pretty much like developing a subdivision.. you have to  HOOT for owls you may have to do Indian relic investigations and on and on and on.
