Oh - I was guilty of 3-4 amendments, and a few acronyms that I never heard of, which had nothing to do with real estate, and more- I believe 6 pages of crimes I was "guilty" of- by them not paying me for almost a year now.The other court will take up to month to respond - while you pay for your attorney to file to remand the case back to Magistrate court where it belongs.

@Sarah Pratt,In that case, I would re-instate the charges and, if found guilty, ask at sentencing that all penalties be trebled as punishment for the retaliation.... or, knuckle under and allow yourself and everyone after you to be bullied with impunity.The choice is yours.

I know others who've been falsely accused, and had to go through long processes of organizational valdiation before getting back on their feet--it's a demeaning, disheartening, and tiring experience (not to mention it seems like it's a guilty-until-proven-innocent process).I think it's great you're trying to help her out--and if you're confident that she'll be exonerated by the state, helping her get back on her feet can be the right thing to do.
