There's a real misconception that a STR has to be in a resort/vacation destination which on the surface, makes sense.

There is a common misconception LLC's will protect you from personal liability.  

I'd say the number one misconception I see is people thinking it's something they can dip their toe in for 4 or 5 hrs a week and make gobs of money. 

Obviously what we have here is the beginning of another guru with hype and a misconception of what "finding a property" entails, or just "find cash buyers" even suggesting the above, no money, no credit and no knowledge.

(Could be interesting to hear yet another misconception.) 

There are a lot of misconceptions about sba loans and their programs.

So, let go of the misconception that the right time is just around the corner.

(Also there is a difference between a REALTOR and a licensed sales agent, common misconception) There is a specific wholesale license you need to get if you are not a licensed agent, and you need insurance along side a few other.

I see fallacies and misconceptions used between the two groups at best, lies at worst.
