Regardless if you decide to keep it or flip it, now that the inspector has issued the order, you need to cure it so have him over and give him the walkthrough explaining everything you did, perhaps show invoices from contractors (or at least scopes of work completed).

Repairs were invoiced/ completed, then 4 days later I received a notice from sec 8 inspector that said that there were power surges all over the house: when she turns on basement stairwell lights, the stove power goes out and when turning on hallway light, the fan goes out in the bedroom, with 30 days to repair.

The process was NOT easy.I had to submit:2 years of tax returns for all my businesses, P/L statements for all businesses for past 2 years, P/L statements for all businesses for current YTD, Invoices to prove businesses are still open and operating, E-file tax receipts for 2019 for personal and all businesses, Recent bank statements for personal and all businesses, Etc.
