I will be using this as a building block on how I manage properties in the future so its important to me to have a basis to start from. 

Buildings and terrain around you?

I come from Europe too, and I know it can be overwhelming when you look at the real estate market in a new country and with completely different building technics ( sticks instead of bricks), but is not as bad when you have the right team in place. 

We are continuing to do regular flips and wholesale deals,  4 new builds this year.

This includes preparing the property for renters, pricing it right, marketing, application screening, collecting rent, dealing with unpaid rent and other lease violations, security deposit disposition, inspections, and so much more.

Typically repairs are something they would coordinate with tenants - did they inspect the unit, indicate they would be the primary POC going forward, etc.? 

I don't necessarily think it hinges on which Market you choose.The more important choice is where you'll be able to build the best team that will make your investing Journey the easiest especially with all those markets being great markets.

Buying a property that helps cover your mortgage is one of the best ways to start building wealth.

There are many ways to go about this, but one of the cheapest is to look on Google maps for buildings that look like 4-plexes.

I would love to get a property in the NW DC that is run down, add additional floors and then make it an apartment building.
