Hi  I just received my new STR tax bill (Horry County/Myrtle Beach, SC) and it increased 2.5X!  

Assuming all holding periods are met under the liquid exchange, an investor may be able to sell a smaller portion of the partnership ownership during years where they would expect a low tax bill. 

The exculpation and limitation of damages clause seems overly broad, particularly with the QI limiting liability even in cases of negligence or misconduct, like wire transfer errors.

I see it WAY too often person who got a property, analysis based on STR revenues, found out they suck at hosting, revenues are never what expected, feels like work, and than when try to shift to standard rental there deep in the red because standard rents are a fraction of that hopeium STR revenue, but there "stuck" with a property, a mortgage bill, and are than searching to break even or paying $ to get rid of property...... 

She has been making mistakes sending the bill for premiums to the correct mortgage companies as well.

Now I'm on to the next step: covering the tax bill from my side gig, saving, and repairing my credit.

You will spend more time and money chasing pennies than focused on the dollar bills.

Inglewood's rental protection is making me submit drivers license, bills and tax license for a unit that at this time I have no incentive to rent when someone can get away with not paying the rent for months.

If they call from another number, tell them you've given them the information and you're sorry if they aren't happy with the answer, but they are being billed for damages they caused and then hang up.
