I'd been hoping to not "go overboard" since it's just an owner-occupied house hack in a SFH so it sounds like I *could* keep things simple.This isn't so much about the software but I saw you're active in LA; did you find that the templatized leases via KeyCheck/Rocket Lawyer suited your MTRs? 

Way too much stress to do it yourself and there are a lot of hidden costs.

I still get emails from turnkey companies and one of them (Martel Turnkey) said "stress free investing".

The problem is NOT the use of remote entity as any fraudulent  activity will fall back on the individual performing fraudulent acts.  

I know there are a lot of agents who are active investors.

If passive investing appeals to you, real estate syndications or REITs diversify exposure without active management.Best regards, Stevan
