Hi Niece, I'd suggest you get involved with other like minded folks at your local real estate group.

Look for any cases that involve a rental company or have the words “eviction” in them.

They had named him Rommel on purpose, as they were involved with prison gang life and some people.. well I guess they simply choose to not reform or adjust.

We've never actually had a tenant use it after reading the addendum (which was our goal), and I think it helps prevent problems when they understand the myriad issues involved in its use.  

I have been involved with a few of these projects in different areas of the country and each one I have worked with has been a great success.  

What do you file for this "income overseas," do you file SChedule C self employed on your personal 1040 tax returns ?

For example when someone wants to have financial freedom and spend more time with family, but then sets a goal by creating a heavy active income stream that involves their personal involvement daily.

I am not sure what type of real estate investing you're considering, but it sounds like, with your family and busy job, you won't have a lot of time to be hands-on or personally involved. 

your on the right track then.. just compare costs and time involved.. then move forward
