@Aidan Mulligan In addition to pit bulls because they might be dangerous, I ban short people because they sometimes fail to clean the tops of the cupboards, tall people because they sometimes don’t notice the dirty floors, fat people because they can be hard on the carpets, and skinny people because, well, I’ve put on a few pounds lately and I just don’t want that kind of thing around me.Kevin (previous owner of two Rottweiler rescues, current owner of rott/pit mix rescue).

In order to meet the approval requirements of HUD and the bankruptcy court, I sold my house and my family and I moved in with my in-laws. 2 months later and and the seller's agent informed us that there have been "Extra eyes on the property and it's undergoing further review".

If they've been good tenants and you wouldn't mind keeping them, talk to them and see how they would feel about you making the renovations while they're still there (assuming undergoing the renovations would be possible with them still living there).
