USA for us european il like a continent :D I'd like to invest in overseas countries like USA also if I'm italianIt decreases the risks of countries crisis having investments in different location

Combine that with the Europeans and Canadians flying in and buying up property, that area will turn around much sooner than anyone expects.

Greetings, My wife and I have three children and three grand children and not quite 60, we have lived most of our married lives out of the USA, (Mexico and Spain) but now living in McAllen Texas,  we both have some real estate experience, owned our own company in Spain selling apartments to northern Europeans,   went well until the bust in 2007 and 2008, we also had real estate license's in Florida and lived there for 4 years,   We now are wanting to do some serious REI  and learn, network in Southern Texas,  thanks for your input.  

For me a 2/1 that rents for only $650 (which is below section 8 rents around me and likely in most major cities) is a bad idea and will 100% attract the wrong tenants.

Most major metros in the states don't sell for 50% ARV of condos.

You can get much of this information on MLS.... take a market look at the cheapest properties in a neighborhood your interested in in my 20 plus years of funding SFR TK homes average rehabs are 5k for fluff and buff to 25k for replacing most major items and roof etc..

I think it would be great to have an apartment in a few European cities that I can reside in even if only for a few months out of the year. 

Building in most major markets is well behind annual basic consumption ands been for greater than a decade.
