The biggest issue is having enough money in reserves, before doing all the improvements and dealing with vacancies in the winter (not good in NE Ohio by the way)  I would NOT want any vacancies between November and March or April in NE Ohio.

I then had to point out there was no way to silence a false alarm or change the batteries without risking breaking my neck.Around late March my art exhibit (the non-real estate project) wrapped up and I could focus my attention back to the house.

It definitely requires a long term perspective and able to supplement the cap expenses in the short term.Most of my rentals are in working class areas (Class C with some that may be B-) and small multiplex (duplex to quad).
