I am sure you know the reason for holding your rental property in a limited liability entity in the first place before now if am not wrong for proper asset protection from liability of being a property owner such as attacks from judgment claimers, creditors claim, litigations and tenants claims on your personal asset which can immediately turn your entire asset into liability if there is a lawsuit.

Strangely enough this is a result of the IRS willingness to attack some exchanges (typically on raw land developments and cases of significant lengthy renovations) where the hold time was much more than a year by claiming that the intent all along was really to resell.

No one is challenging that lead paint needs to be controlled and we are behind keeping properties safe and we fully agree that deadbeat landlords need to be pursued...however the law is excessive in several capacities.)I'd like to know why the existing and currently quite active Neighbor Works (blight, neglect, abandonment, disrepair violations) can't pursue properties with peeling exterior paint...immediately attacking half of the problem for the lead paint law (exterior vs interior) and I would expect 80% of the real problem landlords here in Toledo.
