The point the authors make is that while many people are leaving the marketplace due to the media's drumbeat of "crashing RE markets" and the increase in market supply, savvy investors should be buying as many good deals as they can instead of sitting on the sidelines waiting for the market to finish its correction.

And amazingly enough, at one time before the crash...there wasn't a big difference between some of the prime and sub-prime products.I predict money sources for sub-prime will be driven by supply and demand and will soon return to the tune of something like a 21% cap for a 2/28 or a 3/27 with a 5 or 8 year pre-pay.

I just learned that 500 Fiko ( the company that rolled out 100% financing on a 500 credit score right before the crash), recently adjusted their 100% Ltv to a 620 credit score.
