Diversity is resilient in my business experience.With all of that said, I have been looking at cities that are seeing growth, particularly in industries that are positioned to last, that have a lower barrier to entry.

I'm going to ask the attorney how much discretion I have in this matter, ie, can I deny one tenant and permit another tenant, based on the one unit having wood floors and another unit having more resilient tile floors?

The new contractor said the cheapest option is to put down linoleum in the hallways, kitchen and living room which will be around $900.We are opting to do a more long term option and replace with VINYL Plank which is more resilient to weather, water and wearing...

My thoughts, If it is not going to make me more or less competitive within my sub-market i do not want to be responsible for the resiliency of refrigerators washer & dryers and microwaves.

To really solve the problem the best approach is adding sound batts to the ceiling construction and hanging the drywall from resilient channels, both are expensive and intrusive projects. 

Places with the most recession-proof jobs such as in education, government, defense, healthcare, etc. will be more resilient in the next downturn.
