Hi Ruth,For STR (Short-Term Rental), MTR (Mid-Term Rental), and second/vacation homes, DSCR Loans (Debt Service Coverage Ratio) are often the best option.

@Wayne Brooks  As Wayne mentioned that area is one of the biggest boom bust areas in the entire US I have been following it since the mid 80s when I went there to scope out how they could have 250k lots in Leigh acres .. 

I’m always on the lookout for properties with potential, especially those mid-project or distressed ones that others might shy away from.
