That being said I've done research and came across many different online and in person courses that are offered and was wondering what agency you went through and if you would recommend the same or a different agency?

I have been a Commercial Real Estate Broker for the last eight years negotiating privately leased space for various State agencies in California which is a pretty good gig.

@Jane Guerreso   Hi Jane, as a landlord, reporting rent payments to a credit agency is something that we've considered in the past but have not for various reasons.  

I have recently contacted an agency, their English is not the greatest, but they are an international company.

Also a large Texas agency is located in this town.  

When they are in a 'dual agency' situation (i.e. they are formally representing both the Buyer and the Seller), their obligation is to mostly provide information and not opinion / recommendation.

They are going to market that property through an agency or auction.

Along with zero commission for my agency........

You can setup a Solo 401k with a mainstream brokerage and use that for contributions, and the cost/admin overhead are much less than a self-directed plan.  

So, for a quick background on myself, I am a recent college graduate living in Atlanta, GA, currently working at a marketing agency full-time, but have become extremely interested in pursuing some sort of real estate investing.
