One group I see pretty often are the Rain City guys who I believe buy on behalf of investors.

I remember back in the mid 80s when an article like this came out and said the Pac northwest was going to grow at rates unseen in the past.. well that was when  timber aerospace and farming dominated the area.. us CA residence thought what the heck it rains there all the time nice in the summer but really...

We just had a big wind storm in Maryland , fortunatly no rain .

My mother-in-law has a house which we are helping to do some rehabbing and she is planning to rent it out.One of the problems that we noticed, is that the exterior wood stairs (connecting the kitchen and garage) is exposed, so if it's raining, it would be very inconvenient for the tenants.

Last thing you want is to find out the $100k property you are buying for $50k has a $1mil lien or judgement on it.
