Contact local addiction recovery groups I.E.

I suggest looking into local investing groups on Facebook to connect with more people in your specific area

I run a group of landlords in Philly and notice many new investors getting themselves into unforeseen difficult situations.

@Jonah Gunalda, being a physician there is a group called White Coat Investors.  

This group really pushed me over the edge to NOT signing up with one of those coaching services and come here with my questions, so here goes.I really want to find a home in one of a few particular neighborhoods in the Poconos.

Don't hesitate to seek advice from experienced professionals and consider joining real estate forums or groups to connect with others on a similar path.

But the best course of action here is two fold: Visit your local REI groups.
