Developers have already started renovating old buildings and turning them into luxurious apartments.Be careful of where you decide to invest though because some bad apples have been coming to the area and causing trouble. 

We're planning on making quite a few updates to the property, like putting in patios for each unit, fencing, landscaping, etc.

Their reasoning was they acquired the property before 2008 or long ago when you could actually buy a Bay Area house for around under $250k and they say tenants never cause trouble. 

I've never heard someone say they liked/didn't like a house because it did or didn't have ceiling fans.If you're on the fence, just use the LED lights that you want. 

Someone else found the deal and was going to be the primary operator, and he needed several million dollars to buy the property, and was having trouble raising money. 

For me, I wouldn't want to go through all the trouble to try and save7500.
