Regular insurance coverage covers only if a sinkhole opens beneath my property and the house is basically condemned.I would like added sinkhole coverage in order to get additional sinkhole endorsement I would need to get some sinkhole inspection.

Other companies can have endorsements at no extra cost that extent your polity like a better shingle program...where a company actually pays you to put better shingles on your roof upon damage this is a great program and shows a company that wants the risk (your house) to be as good as possible and basically pays you more for it in the event of a loss....Nationwide has a better shingle program in some areas of the United States.

Further, @Melvin List is correct in that if a survey was drawn when you acquired the property, a survey affidavit (rather than a new survey or an update) should suffice.If the property is not a platted residential lot, you have no recent survey, and your lender requires certain endorsements... yes, you will need a survey.
