I am sure you can find a tenant who is looking for an in-law suite for an elderly relative or younger teenager. 

First we had renters for two years with teenagers that totally trashed our house.

We had 2 teenage daughters still at home when we started.

I was divorced, my teenage kids were getting into trouble and my idea was to move them into a different school away from old friends and live in the house during fix-up.

During the time the home is vacant, it could turn into a party pad for horny teenaged high school kids.
