I am not that concerned but will most likely start distributing the funds rather than defer more.The original question asked whether deferring income as long as possible might be a good idea even when retired (and if that is even possible) which would make a larger percentage of income be taxed at 15%, and the fact that money could work tax free possibly in the form of a tax deferred self directed (traditional) IRA.The reason for considering stashing cash in retirement is the fact that my pension will almost certainly implode.
