Hey folks...botched my first intro and then read the instructions.New to this and looking at it as a potential way to supplement income and then eventually get out of corporate America.

I am from Ecuador-South America and I also have been reading a lot of books and watching several videos to get as much info as possible.

I'm not sure about Wells Fargo specifically and their requirements.I know bank of America posted this a few months back as well. 

The larger banks like Bank of America and Wells Fargo can and offer various fixed and adjustable rate HELOC's with LTV's (Loan to Value) of 80-90%.

The primary point of my original post is that Tax Liens in Podunk America can be a good thing.  

This isn't a guy who works in corporate America.  

. :)  HOWEVER, today Bank of America called me and offered me HELOC at 2.2% for the first year... my eyes just opened, why didn't I think of this?

On the subject of WB, I just read his new annual letter to shareholders and he made the point that America's GDP growth is not in question.

there are little quarks as well, that only a trained eye may see, the process is easy if you are in a subdivision with 200 relatively equal homes, it a bit more tricky and subjective in rural America, where comps my be fare apart, and no similar sales exist for 12 months ore more, then your gut has to know. its 1 part science, 1 part math, and 2 parts Market Knowledge
