I am assuming this is in TEXAS (I am editing this as I thought I was in the Austin Fourm, I understand now that you might not be in Texas)  as each state has their own set of laws that property managers must follow.  

I have not personally tried the Wire feature though.I am an Accountant and use it and refer my clients to it as well, connect with me and I will look to see what the costs are to send a wire, they do allow free check and ACH payments if timing is not a factor.I had a client who used Titan, and as an Accountant I did not like it.

I would just be more cautious about the area you invest in and see what other investor experiences have been in the area you do decide to invest in as well.

Let's of NYC investors look at other cities in NY, Rochester, Buffalo, etc... they can drive to them to see them, and they know the state well enough to feel comfortable.Most of the rust belt cities in NY offer cash flow as well. 

I am a private Monday lender and NMLS licensed ( not active) Mortgage banker so I know a little about this I started in private money in Oakland CA in 1987 and have done well over 3000 loans to various clients in 25 states and this is me personally not selling a system so others can do it..
