In general, it is tough to find landlords that will take Section 8 (at least at the level of house I provide, B/B+) and so you'll get plenty of interest. 

The underwriting is strict, and your experience level and ability to perform will be scrutinized.

Are you thinking more turnkey properties or fixer uppers?

Both homes are probably roughly the same SQ footage, the same level of niceness etc.

Here there is a 25 GPG hardness and .2-.8PPM (not sure specifically what my rental has), which leads to buildup and rust, in addition, there has been a history of too high magnesium which caused an advisory from the city itself about potentially unsafe levels of magnesium.

You as the host can opt into doing an additional level of screening for new members and use whatever process you'd like to vet them after they've been passed on to you from PadSplit.

They will also have their rights extinguished and a judge will sign an order to have the liens released.This is a high-level strategy that requires a lot of knowledge and some cash as you will not be able to purchase these properties using financing.
