The cheapest way I was able to find a deal is craigslist from sitting inside my home...Things you will need:Internet connections, computer, Cell phone , and app Slydial (free) ( allows you to skip straight to a person's voice-mail inbox)Since you have posted on here I assume you have internet and computer..Look for houses on craigslist for sale and/or rent that looked to posted by homeowners..

@Michael Lerch I agree, it was harsh, when you were a little kid and started to run in front of a car, I bet your parents spoke harshly, responded quickly with a commanding voice.

From looking on here this is what I have come up with so far:  This site is full of great information.tenant emails a craigslist ad and gets an auto response directing them to our web site and to fill out a form to schedule a showing,  this form also pre screens the tenants, asks income, eviction, criminal,  questions ect.my yard signs will also direct people to our web site and each house has a google voice number with the property details and again directs them to the web site.

California building code has a minimum standard for noise transfer between floors which is at least 50 STC (sound transmission like voices, tv, etc) and at least 50 IIC (impact noise, people walking or jumping).
