I currently have about 100 plus contacts of guys who make 200k a year, and are looking for other streams of income (go look at oil prices).I need help with proper research, establishing property values.   

Roofs in my area are pretty steep, not many contractors and most folks try to get oil field jobs that pay $30 an hour and up. 

Does anyone have any insight on how the recent layoffs and closings of several oil field companies are affecting the real estate market in Alberta Canada.

My grandmother is one of these people to me, she buys essential oils, and quarter collections, humidifiers and dehumidifiers cause somehow having both running is better than having neither. 

And the small desert oil towns have their own RE cycles based on recessions, booms and which fields get opened and closed.Prices were not out of control late1990s.  

If I paint over old wallpaper and cut the seams and repair and use a oil base if that easier than removing the wallpaper.What do you any of you suggest?

Hello everyone I've always been interested in real estate investment I currently work in the oil field industry I want a change and don't want to end up working under the sun for the next five years so my question is how do I start I currently have around 10 grand saved no bills except apartment I read bigger pockets book on little or no money down should I enter the real estate business by doing lease option or purchase multi family with an fha loan ?

They looked like someone poured motor oil on them in places.

The property was converted from an oil based heating to a gas based heating system.

Bakersfield is far from the bottom as prices have appreciated a good amount in the past few years, but pressure from oil industry layoffs have keep prices lower than other areas of CA (some of which are pushing all-time highs).
