There is a principle with real estate ownership that you only have the rights to property that you work to protect.

The issue we have with some OOS investors is that they never have seen their property in person, they just leave it to the PM and object every repair bill.

Long-term objectives play a crucial role; selling might be preferable if you need funds for other investments, while renting could be beneficial for building equity and generating rental income.
