Basically, for every building that has 3+ families the state inspects the building for compliance with various laws every 5 years (like to ensure you have fire escapes, smoke detectors, the building is structurally sound, etc.).

A nice clever way to do it is a "leak smoke detector inspection"  or "termite inspection" then it comes across as a normal inspection and not you trying to check up on them if nothing is wrong.

(ORDER OF DISCHARGE)Then the paper trail says that HSBC asks and is granted the motion to Disolve Lis Pendens, Dimsiss Complaint and Release The Orginal Documents.I read the papers over on these and was wondering does this mean my family member still owns the house as the court house shows the title is still in their name and does this mean they own it without the loan attached to it any longer since they filed bankruptcy and the bank charged it off and asked for the complaint to be dismissed?

Light bulbs, smoke detector batteries, etc. are on the tenant.

I currently have a certificate of sale, and it could be months until it is motioned in court.

Replace door - $xx.xx; Repair broken window - $xx.xx; Replace smoke detectors - $xx.xx etc. for about 20 items. 

So anyway, unless you are smarter than me, that kind of thing can happen... that's the reason there is no perpetual motion machine and no free electrical device you can build in your garage.

They have taken good care of properties and never had any late payment in five years, which makes me want to leave it alone but need someone to second the motion :)
