Of course you did nothing wrong.Well except for paying up front for work that was not yet done....a major faux pas and a large part of the problem....if she hadn't done that we wouldn't be having this conversation.....OP, They are not going to sue you or take you to court.

A 1975 property is not that old and while there could be asbestos and lead paint, it's doubtful one of that vintage is going to have knob and tube wiring.

Every review of my listing cites the decor and uniqueness of our property, which is tiki themed.Mine isn’t crazy, but my wife built a 10’ tall plant wall, we have dozens of tiki masks everywhere, fake birds in cages, a diving helmet, vintage pieces, handmade art, and every room is tied to the theme of the property.on the flip side, in my super competitive STR market, I see a lot of future listings hitting the MLS because they aren’t adapting to changes in the market, and the changing demographics of who is visiting.

To me it does not makes any sense to pay for two polices that covers the same items in the home unless one of the tenants wants more coverage for high priced items like jewelry, art, etc.
