Most of the large lumps of cash has been exhausted in the properties I currently own so at the time of this writing I have just around $20,000.

Best thing is to size the exhaust fan according to the size of space and correct size duct.

If you are above garage there will be exhaust fumes coming in which will have to be prevented by you or the HOA.

No exhaust to the outside.  

Issue: water is leaking through the joint of boiler/water heater exhaust pipes and the Chimney in the concrete wall in the basement.one contractor gave me the job detail and a quote of $1200 to fix the issue as follows:1.

He can do it, yes... but it's a lot of work that might normally go to a specialist, and will be slow and frustrating for one guy to knock out nights and weekends... likely, there's really no sum of money that will overcome exhaustion and frustration likely built in to the job.To put it in perspective: I run a rather large contracting engine.
