Capital formation for real estate is quite different than what the SEC contemplated when they did the Angelist and Funder's Club NALs that most platforms use as the basis for their securities apparatus. 

I have been contemplating moving to Oregon, where I have visited often and find I like the best.

I am contemplating on investing in an undeveloped land roughly 60 miles north east of McKinney.  

I contemplated one for a minute until I started adding up rehabs numbers over $250k.  

I am contemplating purchasing a vacation rental property in Venice Italy.  

IE an apartment.. but for the urban dweller they can rent those for 800 to 1200 a month so a nice income on your exisiting sfr.One of my buddies is contemplating building a developemetn of them in Roseburg Oregon he owns quite a bit of acreage there  and in our state every parcel has zoning period .. so this is a project that has to go through the subdivision map act.but in Oregon they embrace small lots.. ie 1 to 1500 sq ft lots are common.

Some of the concerns I have will be resell value of the property even tho I am contemplating a buy and hold strategy.

It has been a while since I have had a project not work out and I have been contemplating the steps that I take to overcome a setback and thought that I would share them with you. 1.Take responsibility.

I've been contemplating on whether I should hold off on the new floors while they live there for a year or just get it done with the painting and patching that it needs.
