sounds like the electrician is an idiot. was he licensed?

Most electricians can do it without many holes, and the ones they do make can be patched.

@Paul Witte emergency calls at off hours are so rare that I tell my tenants to call a plumber, electrician, whatever if it is such an emergency that it can't wait till morning.

Just went under contract on a multi-family property in Atlantic City and I would appreciate your recommendations on good and reasonably priced professionals for the following :Plumber, Electrician, Handyman, painter, Roofer, Construction, etc.

This will avoid the person running away with your money and will allow other contractors to potentially provide feedback on his work(to see if they are good or bad).Yes - this does mean having to individually hire and find contractors for electricians, plumbers, roofers, flooring people.

They are coming back with the electricians, contractor and company lawyer etc on later in October to investigate further in their presence.

I’m going for electrician, but I’m obviously not cut out for it and don’t want to waste my money or time since I pay for my own schooling and have little time for real estateIf I were to drop out I would have time to find a mentor, read, attend seminars, attend open houses, analyze more properties etc... my goal is to retire by 30 and I would be going to community college for another 3-6 years at the rate I’m going now.
