I've had 1 tenant stay for 3 years, the others have stayed for a year on average but it depends.

I have thought about Ohio as well but may stay local and we definitely need to put time into our STR's to get them better.

Can stay in the same budget and use the excess to invest or trade up.

For awhile it seemed like only SLS and Pennymac were buying loans and I got comfortable with their platforms but now I’ve got Lakeview, Mr.Cooper, Flagstar in the mix all with different systems. 

Now, after 10 months of stay, tenant is asking to get bed bug inspection done.

And personally, I stay away from OH because it's what herd think has long been and I worry how much of price is based on herd-actions or market metrics. 

I could fly home to take care of my parents with zero notice and stay for a month, or two.

When i read about how their deal was really messed up with most investor probably going to take huge loss's its not shocking.. you have to stay right on top of these and have the manpower to do it.
