But even if the note is in your personal name, the LLC will still hold title so I'm not sure that would even cause a privacy issue unless someone looks up the recorded liens on the property. 

U can put tint on that window and would have the privacy. 

However, I think I tried that once, but seem to recall that there's a new privacy issue that doesn't allow them to do this?? 

Also, it is important to remember that you are most likely renting an individual bedroom, and the guests in my experience tend to prefer privacy to spending much time in communal areas, speeding up the cleaning process.

Being an owner occupant has it's downsides and privacy is one.

I like my privacy and would never live next to one of my tenants.I understand for many it's a way they have to go to buy an FHA 4 unit and live in one and rent the other 3 because of the low down payment.

The current house that I would like to sell or rent is 1960 SF, 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage, plus a ~200SF screened back porch, privacy fenced yard, nice lawn and landscaping with sprinkler irrigation from a well.

The "bad tenants list" was a HUGE invitation for any attorney looking for a slam dunk case for violation of privacy, libel, etc. 

I am focussing on 2 bed property in the Sheffield/ Manchester area of England
