Another step is to ask your current lender if an expedited post-disaster inspection can be arranged to speed things up.

While getting treated badly at work is a bummer I just see a lot of sour grapes in the post and I am not sure this is the forum for it. 

I've been on this platform for many years and, over the years, I've seen new members linked or part to Mexican real estate agencies posting educational content about investing in Mexico out of the blue shortly after becoming new members and then disappear as they realized that their efforts wasn't giving them the amount of business they were hoping for.

The last post on this topic I see is from about seven years ago... so figured I would start fresh. 

This puts the current market rents of $885–$925 per unit well within the affordable range, with room for modest increases post-renovation.I’ve also reviewed competing properties in the area; apartments seem to be listed between 975 -1000, and houses are listed between 1300-1900.
