It's the same with pets some people are highly allergic to animals and will specifically rent in a no pet building.

I have made it a hard fast rule to never let anyone move in until the sec dep, pet dep, rent and utilities are turned on in their name.

I typically get 30-40 calls on it the first day, most of whom are millennials with pets and no children.
