A great way to start is by attending RE events and joining a local investors association.

I joined believing the community was here to help its members make such decisions, (smartly), and in some cases, partner together to improve the probability of success (and learning for the newbie!).

Is there a lender/ lender type anyone recommendeds.Contrary to the mis information provided above, I know of no legitimate institutional lender that will lend money in a situation where the borrower has no capital of his own invested, at least since 2008!

One suggestion is joining Communities.

It may change state to state.I recommend joining your local ULI group (Urban Land Institute).
