I'm still bedridden and cannot walk or work for the last few years but it has given me the time to learn about real estate investment full time and I have learned much that has enabled me to help many others, mostly Newbies, at BiggerPockets. 

You don't say what type of investing you're interested in, so going on most downloaded episodes, I'd recommend Episode 200 - How to Buy Your First Investment Property, Episode 223 Set for Life with Scott Trench, Episode 221 - Rental Properties with Tim Shiner.More recent episodes are Episode 260 - Negotiation with Chris Voss, Episode 276 Early Retirement by Age 35 with Bryce Stewart and Episode 238 Becoming a Real Estate Millionaire and a Teacher's Salary with Michael Swann.

Experience is the best teacher.

As a former teacher, I've seen how bad things have become in the past decade, and it isn't going to get better any time soon.What's worse is that popular culture is embracing the misuse of words and the media propagates it as well.Its the dumbing down of American Society, and it is happening in front of our very eyes.

We hope to have many children (I come from a family of 9 and she's the oldest of 8 ).I'm a Christian, and active in our local church (Sunday School teacher, bookkeeper, regular attendee, tithing member, etc.).That's a good place to start.

This will enable you to last a long time in this business.
