With everythng going on with COVID-19, would anyone have any advice for building a cash buyers list during this crisis?

I already get 20 unsolicited calls and snail mail a week from someone that is hoping that personal crisis and ignorance will cause me to sell for 60% of market value. 

It's reassuring to see policy makers and finance leaders taking preventative measures to avoid a real estate bubble and a repeat of the 2008 financial crisis. 2020 has been full of surprises and uncertainty, but the changing conditions may be ideal for well-positioned real estate investors to grow their portfolio.

Maybe we will have another crisis in 2030 and real estate prices tank again. 

I think you unnecessarily created a crisis for yourself. 

Many are keeping in a separate account and either using it for emergency or will return it after the crisis is over. 

I am sure the deals are out there especially with everything going on but it seems like everyone is holding tight through this crisis and not making any selling decisions.

What people need to understand this is pandemic crisis which yes effects all levels of economy but this is not a Financial crisis.

With the current state of the oil market, I was hoping to get some insight from people here that know this market and what happens when there is a significant decline in oil:- Everyone says that oil always comes back, but with the uncertainty of COVID-19, is it possible for there to be a decline that is more severe, and longer, than the 2015-2017 oil crisis?

I agree with you on the conversion of hotel to multifamily, and it would pose a tangible solution to the affordable housing crisis.
