It preserves your credit, and if they do ever sell it to a debt servicer/collector/factoring co, you can offer them a smaller lump sum (they are usually much more amiable to this option than original creditors) or if you get behind, most collection companies accept pay for delete requests, whereby you negotiate an amount to settle the account and they in turn delete any record of your payments made or otherwise.

People within that 2 or 3 month window, it's more like 70%, if I start deleting that more recent data, then I screwed up b/c there's about a 70% chance I would otherwise have actually used that information to help someone buy a home.

Unfortunately it does still save the actual keyword request back to my account but there is a provision in the system to automatically delete any/all request after three months of time which I would certainly want in the case of a vacation rental.I’m going to also look into the Alexa for hospitality program I mentioned above, however it requires an Amazon business account which I believe has certain purchasing thresholds which independent operators such as ourselves would probably not meet.https://www.amazon.com/alexahospitalityWill post back here as I find out more.
