Linoleum actually is all natural and buffs and polishes beautifully.  

So I went over to the neighbors and asked if I could buy a 7.3'x100' area I need, which ideally sits right behind a fence they built separating their beautiful property from this dilapidated one.Good news is they are open to it.

Saratoga is a beautiful area but not the best spot to be buying multifamily for the average/beginning investor. 

I'd do some aesthetic rework on it

The most beautiful thing about real estate isnt the fact that its pound for pound the best way to generate wealth, but a lot of the mistakes can be prevented simply by spending time on this message board alone.

When I finally got to the property, after driving past the many neighboring, beautiful, bigger, newer homes on acreage along the way,  I quickly realized what the "problem"  was (or at least one of the problems): a huge power pole, complete with a transformer high up on it, was located about sixteen feet from the front of the house, centered on the front door!

I too enjoy seeing a home transform from ugly Betty to beautiful Betsy.

I had the entire house's hardwoods refinished and it ended up looking absolutely beautiful.  

Arizona is a beautiful place, and once I've found my success in Sacramento, I'm planning on expanding back to my hometown out there.I'm not too familiar with the Northern California market yet, but I know AZ is ripe for the picking!

I'm guessing ones that look as beautiful as that one you just completed will sell, but the market may get wonky after the Germans leave.
