I think you're onto something...that VRBO is not currently investing much advertising spend in your market and is instead focusing elsewhere.

With my line of work not being around all the time I was curious of this since I would be able to manage lease agreements, advertising if needed, long term projects, rent collecting, and reporting. 

While it only has 10,000 people, cities and towns appear to only get smaller the closer you get to the park, making Cody a good spot for travelers and tourists, Id imagine, along with being a great target for the tourism industry.

When used as an Operating Company, the traditional LLC can enter into contracts, handle repairs/contractors, enter into property management agreements, collect rents, and advertise.

I wouldn't advertise it as a bedroom and would make it clear that it is not to ever be a bedroom, but am concerned about the presence of an unpermitted room in general, but I may be overreacting. 

(he said he's ok with this since this would be an unsecured loan) The purpose of the loan would be business expenses, growth through advertising and for new route listings.  

This is a problem that could destroy the tourism industry of the whole Caribbean industry.
