What would be your 10 year retirement plan if you were in my shoes? 

So there really isn't a right or wrong path to take.And you'd also have to put yourself in the shoes of a potential acquiring company.  

Basement just needs to be fixed up to use as storage.

Hi, i have 10 acres of industrial land and going to be building out muti use type of storage kind of little bit of everything, rv /boat storage / semi truck parking , and little bit of container storage   and small spaces (5k-10k sqft)  for contractor yards as well .    

Questions I'd have if I were in your shoes would be based around how the CAM expenses, management, taxes etc are going to work. 

I've also done hard money lending, some development deals (build from ground up), self-storage, etc.. 

We were currently spending $850/mo for a local 1000 sqft garage space that was being used for storage and shop purposes.
